The Turning Leaf Project Has A New Name: Turn90

Thurmond Kirchner & Timbes, P.A. is thrilled to congratulate The Turning Leaf Project’s new name, Turn90. Turn90 is a group in Charleston working to help formerly incarcerated men complete probation and get acclimated back into society, showing them a new direction after prison. The project offers a group therapy program, individual case management, transitional employment, and job placement.

Paul Thurmond, a founding partner of Thurmond Kirchner & Timbes, P.A., and board member of Turning90 states “Thurmond Kirchner & Timbes, P.A. is delighted to support Turning Leaf/Turn 90 with our financial contribution. For over 16 years, TKT has strategically supported local charities and philanthropies with donations of time and/or money. The criteria is simple – an organization that is well run, with a focus on truly making a difference in our community. The leadership of Amy Barch is unparalleled, and the success of Turning Leaf/Turn90 at getting formerly incarcerated men back in the workforce and not back into jail is what compelled our law firm to step up. Other law firms need to do the same. We can break the cycle of re-incarceration.”
