Sarah D. Baum was born and raised in New York. Sarah received her Bachelor of Science Degree in Business Administration with a minor in Finance from Hartwick College in 2013. After graduation, Sarah worked in Manufacturing and Sourcing at a large fashion company in New York City. Sarah then went on to earn her Juris Doctor, magna cum laude, from Albany Law School in New York State in 2018. While at Albany Law School, she was an Associate Board Member on the Moot Court Executive Board and was an Associate Editor for the Albany Law Review. Sarah was admitted to practice law in New York in 2019 and in South Carolina in 2020. She is an active member of the South Carolina Bar Association.

Sarah joined Thurmond Kirchner & Timbes after refining her courtroom advocacy skills during her time practicing primarily general civil litigation, commercial litigation disputes, personal injury law, and public employment law matters. 

As an associate attorney, Sarah’s practice is focused on helping clients with their civil and business litigation needs. Sarah is admitted to practice before all South Carolina State courts.
